A Chinese contractor is to build a major expressway link in Nigeria. The contract is for a 15km section of highway. The work will be handled by 890 China Railway Construction.
Construction work on four expressways is commencing in China’s Hunan Province. The roads will have a total length of 179km and the work involves building new stretches, as well as widening and improving existing sections. The cost of this road construction work has been estimated at some US$3.69 billion. Construction is underway on a key highway link in the UAE. The project is costing close to US$218 million and connects Jumeirah district with the Parallel Roads and Al Khail Road.
