A Chinese contractor is to build a major expressway link in Nigeria. The contract is for a 15km section of highway. The work will be handled by 890 China Railway Construction.
Completion of the Lagos to Ibadan highway upgrade in Nigeria will not occur until 2021. The improvement work was initially to have been delivered by 2017. However a string of delays to the work have resulted from insufficient funds and from contractors leaving the jobsite. The current Nigerian Government has now cleared the debts for the project. Peru’s Matarani-Bonbon road project is an important route and forms part of the Camana - Dv Quilca - Ilo - Tacna highway project. The road stretches through several provinces in the Arequipa region. The deadline for completing the work is 720 days after January 2015, and it is scheduled to be completed by December 2016. Progress has been good and as of July 2015, it was 80% completed.

The construction work will be carried out by a Chinese contractor, which has signed a deal with the Macedonian Government.
