A Chinese contractor is to build a major expressway link in Nigeria. The contract is for a 15km section of highway. The work will be handled by 890 China Railway Construction.
Lane Construction Corporation will carry out construction work worth US$134.6 million on a stretch of highway in Florida. This 21km section of the new Suncoast Parkway 2 will run to the north of Tampa, along Florida’s western coast. The route is intended to be a major transport corridor for the state and will feature four lanes. Work is now underway on a major road improvement project in central Nepal. The Chinese contractor, China Construction Seventh Engineering Division (CSSED), is carrying out the upgrade of the East-West Highway route linking Narayagadh and Butwal. The 131km road improvement project is worth US$142.9 million and is expected to be ready by the end of 2022.
