New venue for China’s BICES 2015 exhibition

The BICES 2015 construction equipment exhibition will be held in a new venue located close to Beijing airport and with good links to the city both by road and public transport. The 2730 BICES 2015 construction equipment exhibition will be held in a new venue located close to Beijing airport and with good links to the city both by road and public transport. This move was announced at a press conference was held in Beijing by the show organisers of BICES; 2735 China Construction Machinery Association (CCMA), China Construction Machinery Co (CNCMC), and 5209 China Council for the Promotion of International Trade - Machinery Sub-Council (CCPIT-MSC). BICES 2015 is scheduled to be held on 22nd-25th Sep, 2015 at the Beijing International Exhibition Centre  with the theme of “Quality, Innovation, Build Common Dream”. The target for the event is for the show to feature in excess of 1000 exhibitors with 200,000m2 of show space.

The new exhibition centre is located at Beijing airport industrial and business park and has well developed road access to city highways and ring roads. This allows easy transportation for exhibits to be delivered to the venue from all over of China. NCIEC consists of 8 indoor halls that cover total 106,000m2 under roof with modern show facilities and two pieces of our door ground that amounts to 50,000m2.

The venue is located just 9 m away from Beijing International Airport, which allows those attendees who come to Beijing by air to reach the venue within 15 minutes by taxi. Subway line 15 has a stop just outside the main gate of the venue, which provides easy and fast transportation between down town and the venue.

Being the national industry exhibition organized by CCMA and supported by CCMA members, BICES has close cooperation with 46 domestic national associations in 16 fields of construction, water, power, transportation, mining, municipal, rental, logistics and will invite buyers and visitors to BICES 2015 jointly with those associated partners. Meanwhile, BICES has also developed long-term international partnerships with more than 20 international builder/contractor associations and business organisations, with whom BICES will invite overseas visitors jointly. BICES will be promoted aggressively by more than 200 domestic media, which covers most of construction equipment related industries and territory in China. Meanwhile, BICES has also established long term working relationship with more than 30 overseas media, which covers the like KHL, Route One, Diesel Progress, Construction Pan-America, Crane Today, Construction Equipment, Cygnus, Moffat, MB-diffusion, UKIP, CPI, TEXHO, Automobilnye Dorogy, MESA, Trade Link which are covering Asian, European, American, Asean, Middle East, and African countries.  

The 3rd China International Commercial Vehicle Exhibition (IVEX 2015) and China International Emergency Rescue Equipment Exhibition will be held at the same time as BICES 2015.

Muggy weather and heavy traffic congestion failed to dissuade a large number of attendees visiting the show, located at the new exhibition centre close to Beijing Airport. For those opting to travel to the event by public transport, the proximity of the trade fair centre to the metro system made journeys highly convenient.

The event is being set up by Messe München and will be called bauma Africa and is said to attracting interest in the sector. The South African Construction and Mining Equipment Suppliers' Association (CONMESA) has said that it welcomes the first bauma Africa, the International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines and Construction Vehicles.
