Meanwhile a study by insurance company 3924 Allianz suggests that 30% of motorists read messages while driving and 20% write them. The rates are higher among motorists aged 18-24 than for older drivers. Data shows also that in 10% of road traffic accidents, the driver is distracted by electronic devices or otherwise.
