New road project for Gabon

A new road and bridge deal for Gabon will now be handled by Chinese contractor China Road & Bridge Corporation. The US$106 million deal includes construction of the new Booué Bridge as well as the Port Gentil-Omboue Road. Improving infrastructure has been identified as crucial for Gabon’s economy and the new road will be 93km long.

    Croatia’s roads agency Hrvatske Ceste will soon start evaluating tenders for the controversial Peljeski Bridge project, according to national media.     The authorities in Serbia are pushing ahead with plans for the Corridor 10 and Corridor 11 highways. Serbia's national state owned highway company, Koridori Srbije, has awarded the contract for advisory services for the €1.9 billion Corridor 10 project to French company Egis International.
