New president for concrete Society

David Ball, chairman of the David Ball Group (incorporating PUDLO), has been elected president of the Concrete Society, taking over the role from Professor Ravindra Dhir. A society member for 15 years and a director since 2005, he also heads its International Development Group, and is keen to drive development as president.

David Ball, chairman of the 5520 David Ball Group (incorporating PUDLO), has been elected president of the Concrete Society, taking over the role from Professor Ravindra Dhir.

A society member for 15 years and a director since 2005, he also heads its International Development Group, and is keen to drive development as president. This includes enhancing the experience of membership and raising the domestic and international profile of the society. He is also dedicated to pushing forward with the society’s work to demonstrate the sustainable credentials of concrete as a building material.
