Crushing natural stone: Kleemann’s new MR 110 ZS EVO mobile crusher
261 Kleemann's MR 110 ZS mobile impact crusher from the company’s EVO generation is among the highlights from the 364 Wirtgen Group company.

Listed as a world premiere, the MR 110 ZS EVO, is from the new Mobirex EVO series.

“Since its market introduction after 688 Bauma 2010 the new EVO plants have demonstrated that they really offer more in the most diverse of customer applications,” says Kleemann.

“The new material flow concept, which enlarges the system widths in the direction of the material flow, ensures enhanced performance, less wear and optimum values in terms of consumption per tonne of broken material.”

The MR 110 ZS EVO boasts the stand-alone double-deck grizzly along with high-performance electromagnets while the screening unit includes oversize grain return conveyor whose screen surface is 40% larger than its predecessor model.

Kleemann says that huge importance was attached to flexibility in the development of the EVO series, and this started with the new feeding unit with a fully automatic hopper locking mechanism. This was followed by the new touch panel control system with status displays in clear text format, and then the completely redeveloped crusher. The in-feed geometry has been redefined for better penetration of the material in the impact range of the rotor. The new C-Shape rotor ledges “remain sharp for longer thanks to their C-shape” and are characterised by a clamping system which makes change-overs much easier.

“A real highlight is the fully hydraulic and automatic gap setting, which permits the crusher gap to be adjusted to the exact millimetre using the touch panel when the rotor is running. All this not only increases the quality of the final grain, but also the availability of the plant. The new, very effective overload protection system also contributes to the increased availability of the plant.”

A 6% increase in lift capacity, greater digging efficiency, reduced emissions and up to 5% lower fuel consumption are the benefits of Case’s new CX470C excavator. The 47 to 50tonne machine has a 9.8litre Stage IIIB engine delivering 270kW at 2,000rpm which contributes to a 5% increase in fuel efficiency and 5% faster cycle times. Some of the savings come from a Boom Economy Control, which automatically reduces engine revs and hydraulic power to the boom when speed and power are not a priority.
