The latest hydraulic rock drill from 2396 Montabert is the new HC25 model, designed for underground equipment and surface drilling machines.

It operates at a high frequency and is designed to reduce the wear of tools by using energy that is just sufficient to break the rock.

The 7.5kW hydraulic drill can be used to produce holes with a diameter of 33mm to 76mm.

Applications include holes for blasting in quarries and surface or underground anchors. It has been designed to offer an optimum efficiency and provides a blow frequency of 4,000 strokes per minute while requiring an oil flow of 65litres/minute. It provides 110J impact energy per blow, which is designed to provide a sufficient penetration into the rock while minimising fatigue of tools to increase their life spans. The HC25 can reach a torque of up to 320Nm and can be installed on all booms on the market.
