Chinese firm Jiangsu Expressway Company is to invest a healthy US$600 million in the Kunshan-Wujiang section of the Changshu-Jiaxing Expressway.

Chinese firm 3326 Jiangsu Expressway Company is to invest a healthy US$600 million in the Kunshan-Wujiang section of the Changshu-Jiaxing Expressway. This sum represents 30% of the total investment, while the remaining 70% will come from a yet to be named investment firm from the Suzhou Municipality. An approval has been granted by Jiangsu Expressway's board to invest in the section with 28.44km in a total length. Development work will be started by end-2011, with the highway featuring six lanes when it opens in 2014. A feasibility study is being carried out at present for the project.
