The 10DX is one of two new-generation scissor lifts from Haulotte.
712 Haulotte Group will be showing its full range of telehandlers including the new generation of its 10tonne and 12tonne rough-terrain scissor lifts, which will be launched at INTERMAT.

Sales will begin in April of the C10DX and C12DX, which are part of its Compact range.

The company sees this scissor lift range as particularly suited to rental applications such as external maintenance, electrical, plumbing and painting.

Haulotte has worked with rental companies in developing the new models and said that it has listened to their requests to ensure that the changes fit their needs.

Key new features include a safer one-button operation for the outrigger. A single switch deploys and now also retracts the four outriggers at the same time. The latest models feature a Tier IV Kubota engine, which offers noise and emissions reductions as well as a 5% fuel saving compared with the previous engine. The machines feature a new upper control box, which has been designed to be more durable and reliable. The previous controls have been replaced by switches and the unit is easier to disconnect, making it quicker to remove it at night.  A new paint treatment has been used on the control box to make it longer lasting.

The models have four-wheel drive, a ground clearance of 270mm and an automatic hydraulic differential lock to enable them to climb slopes and work on uneven ground.

Haulotte has paid particular attention to robustness. The outriggers of the new design are now fully within the machine footprint to prevent damage caused by impact. The bumper and the design of the first step have also been changed. Maintenance is also easier through changes including new self-diagnostics to increase the speed of diagnosis and maintenance.

New options have also been developed, with the introduction of foldable guard-rails, a 2.5kW hydraulic generator and a swing-door gate.

Powered by a Doosan DL06 common rail six-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, this 18tonne excavator uses a combination of EGR and DPF to meet emissions legislation. As a result, the new engine offers more power and torque than the stage IIIA DX180LC, and the potential to save 5-10% fuel consumption. A new cab offers greater room for the operator, while more glass helps visibility. Joysticks now feature new proportional thumb
