The German company’s Sensitive Cockpit system is said to boost driver effectiveness, efficiency and safety by using Multi-Touch Projected Capacitance Technology. Featuring what Motometer says is “clear and intuitive” menu navigation and CAN display, the Sensitive Cockpit system’s glass front panel is said to offer thorough protection against physical influences.

Motometer’s new Motocandis CAN-Display generation is said to allow for secure monitoring of a vehicle’s periphery. It allows for the connection of two video cameras, features a high resolution 16.5cm colour monitor, a flexible programme display unit, and operating voltage of between 9 and 32 volts for greater commercial vehicle use.

Meanwhile, the Motomaster is said by Motometer to be a multifunctional display instrument which evaluates analogue signals and digital data of a vehicle and displays it in the cockpit. The central instrument and up to 15 individually usable satellites are controlled via LIN-Bus.

Motoguard is described as an electronic immobiliser offering “effective and economic” protection against vehicle theft, unauthorised ignition or vehicle manipulation, such as altered engine tuning. A built-in programmable transponder allows the machine to recognise the car key of an authorised driver. The Motoguard also has digital data storage to retain information such as mileage, service history and vehicle configuration.

Motometer’s Bistable Battery Switch is said to offer a simple anti-theft protection as the working circuit is separated from the starter, preventing unauthorised ignition.

Finally, the firm’s solid state ISO Cut-off Relay powers the ISO implemented Bus breakaway connector. It is said to protect the electrical system during a shortcut by cutting off the power supply of the ISO implemented Bus breakaway connector. According to Motometer, this prevents any damage to the electrical system of the vehicle fitted with the product.
