Morocco continues to develop highways

Morocco’s highway network continues to improve and develop, with new sections and connections being opened.

Morocco’s highway network continues to improve and develop, with new sections and connections being opened. A 16.5km stretch of the Casablanca-Rabat highway is one of the latest to be opened to traffic. The project is now around 75% complete, with over 42km of the work having been finished. The latest stretch opened features three-lanes in either direction.

  • Kenya highway projects now underway

    Work on two major highway projects are now commencing in Kenya. One project will improve the road connection between Kenya’s capital Nairobi, with its premier port of Mombasa. The other project will see the upgrade of the road link joining Kenya with neighbouring Uganda. Work on the Mombasa to Nairobi highway is starting on a 42km stretch between Mombasa and Marikani.
