2273 SDMO Industries is hoping its expanded line of rental compact power generators, being unveiled at INTERMAT 2012, will bring commercial success.

The R275C3 and R330C3 Rental Compact models will come onto the market after the show, with the R450C3 and R550C3 available from June 2012. It will allow SDMO to offer Rental Compact machines from R16C3 up to R550C3.

SDMO says its robust Rental Compact range offer offers “exceptional impact durability”, making them ideal for use in the most demanding conditions. Each power generator has been designed to ensure user safety when handling, connecting and running the machine. Its layout makes it easy to maintain with quick access to replaceable parts, and to mechanical parts for servicing and cleaning.

All Rental Compact machines meet European directives and regulations for air pollutants and acoustic output, including the Stage 3A EU regulation of allowable emissions in non-road diesel engines. SDMO, who employ around 900 people after last year doubling the size of its headquarters in Brest, France, claim it is the only compact power generator supplier whose machines meet the Stage 3A regulation.

It might be compact, but the recently launched Kramer Allrad 650 wheel-loader does not shirk from weighty construction matters. One of two Kramer machines for the 0.6m³ class, the 650 has an all-wheel steering mechanism which reduces materials handling time. The 650’s non-articulated chassis is said by Kramer to ensure high stability due to the constant centre of gravity. It also has traction drive.
