Montenegro and Bosnia co-operate on highway

Montenegro is to start work on a new highway project in cooperation with neighbouring Bosnia. The countries will work together on the Podgorica-Sarajevo highway and the two projects will be discussed by the governments of both countries soon. Meanwhile in nearby Serbia, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy has held discussion with the World Bank (WB) regarding a new loan of €100 million for construction of the Corridor 10 motorway.

RSSMontenegro is to start work on a new highway project in cooperation with neighbouring Bosnia. The countries will work together on the Podgorica-Sarajevo highway and the two projects will be discussed by the governments of both countries soon. Meanwhile in nearby Serbia, the 5251 Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy has held discussion with the 2332 World Bank (WB) regarding a new loan of €100 million for construction of the Corridor 10 motorway.

Cost of the six-kilometre double-tube tunnel will be around €92 million with phase one amounting to nearly €36 million. The tunnel will cut the journey between the two towns from 95km to 56km and the time from 90 minutes to 45 minutes.
