MonteAdriano nets $92m Mozambique contract

MonteAdriano Engenharia e Construcao has been awarded two contracts in Mozambique worth a combined US$92.33million. The Portugese construction and engineering company will renovate and build two roads with a joint length of 58km near the provinces of Zambezia and Niassa, and two roads with a combined length of 90km in Tete province. The works must be completed within 18 months.

    Contractor China Roads and Bridges is building a new bridge link in Mozambique as part of a project worth some US$725 million. The contractor is also building the new ring road around Mozambique’s capital Maputo in a deal worth some $315 million, with the work due for completion by the end of 2014.
