Montabert’s new medium range breaker
Hydraulic breaker manufacturer 2396 Montabert is launching a new medium range breaker for applications in demolition, roadbuilding, utilities and trenching.

Weighting 730kg and working with a maximum input power of 33kW, it is said to offer exceptional power to weight ratio and is made for excavators from 8-18tonnes.

The breaker features a completely new design with fewer parts and without tie rods, and provides a frequency of 870 blows/minute and can be used with excavators providing a flow range of 80-140litres/minute and an operating pressure of 140 bars.

Montabert says the breaker proposes a silenced version, a true overflow protection, automatic pressure regulation, swivels, Easylub greasing station, and it can be equipped with a pressurisation circuit for underwater work.

It will be officially presented at 688 Bauma and offered worldwide through the Montabert network made of more than 150 distributors.

    January 6, 2017
Liebherr has developed the LTM1750-9.1, a nine-axle all-terrain crane with a maximum lift capacity of 750 tonnes. The 52m telescopic boom machine is carried by the machine and offers a 154m maximum lift height, with a maximum working radius of 112m. A luffing fly jib can be added in 3.5m increments to take maximum lift height to 91m. Weighing in at 108 tonnes in transport configuration, the LTM puts down 12 tonnes per axle. However if the machine’s boom supports are removed the crane can travel at 11 tonnes
