Michelin launches ADT tyre at INTERMAT

Following the success of its XADN tyre for articulated dump trucks, Michelin has further enhanced the tyre’s construction to include better sidewall protection against damage from rocks and foreign objects. Called the XADN+, the new version is also claimed to offer improved tyre life – typically 8-10% over the XADN version said the French maker – while simultaneously reducing rolling resistance as a result of removing 14kg of dead weight from the tyre. Following the success of its XADN tyre for articulated dump trucks, 720 Michelin has further enhanced the tyre’s construction to include better sidewall protection against damage from rocks and foreign objects. Called the XADN+, the new version is also claimed to offer improved tyre life – typically 8-10% over the XADN version said the French maker – while simultaneously reducing rolling resistance as a result of removing 14kg of dead weight from the tyre.     Atlas Maschinen GMBH has updated some of its truck loader models. The AK96.3 now boasts a maximum lift capacity of 4,700kg with a maximum outreach of 16.3m. The AK116.3 can lift up to 5,410kg and has a maximum reach of 16.38m. Both cranes are available with a range of attachments, including cable winch, personnel basket, Z-arm jib and additional outriggers.
