MCA-P invited Samar road project company bids

In the Philippines, companies have been called by the Millennium Challenge Account-Philippines (MCA-P) to bid for a segment of the Samar road project. The MCA-P will be holding a pre-bid conference for potential bidders on 9 January, 2013 and sealed bids are to be submitted by 28 February, 2013. The Samar road project is aimed at upgrading the Wright-Taft-Borongan-Guiuan Road stretching 222km from Western to Eastern Samar.

In the Philippines, companies have been called by the Millennium Challenge Account-Philippines (MCA-P) to bid for a segment of the Samar road project.

    The latest equipment from Wirtgen has been used to recycle a stretch of Italy’s busy A4 Autostrada, one of the country’s most important highways.     Bidding is strong for the works to construct two bypasses in Slovakia. The road links are the 14.5km long northern Kosice bypass and the 8km Presov bypass. Both bypasses form part of the D1 motorway. The estimated value of both projects is nearly €580 million. Slovakia’s national motorway company NDS opened the bids for the Presov by-pass before the end of 2015. A consortium comprising local firm Duha and Salini Impregilo is amongst the bidders for the work.
