Mantovanibenne shows redesigned shear

Mantovanibenne has increased the cylinder size on its latest Eagle II range of shears and redesigned the tip with a replaceable blade that pierces the material before searing back towards the throat while the one jaw is scalloped to release cut material. On display at bauma was the SH550 Eagle II, which fits carriers in the 50-65tonne range (39-45tonne if boom-mounted) and has a maximum opening of 760mm. The range goes up to the SH2000R, which suits machines upwards of 100tonnes with a 1.2m maximum opening

1140 Mantovanibenne has increased the cylinder size on its latest Eagle II range of shears and redesigned the tip with a replaceable blade that pierces the material before searing back towards the throat while the one jaw is scalloped to release cut material  

On display at 688 Bauma was the SH550 Eagle II, which fits carriers in the 50-65tonne range (39-45tonne if boom-mounted) and has a maximum opening of 760mm.  

The range goes up to the SH2000R, which suits machines upwards of 100tonnes with a 1.2m maximum opening, down to the SH25R for four to six tonne excavators with a maximum opening of 195mm.

Also on show is the company’s CRH440 cracker, with a patented triple booster pump design to increase the available crushing force. According to the company, the design is very powerful for its size and the double pivot design increases the jaw opening relative to the size of the unit.
