Manitowoc Crane Care is expanding its EnCORE dealer programme. Danish company UN Mobilkraner, which has worked with Manitowoc since 1994, now offers certified repair and refurbishment services for Grove mobile cranes in Scandinavia, under the Manitowoc Crane Care brand. To qualify for the program, dealers must invest considerable time in training technical staff, including advanced training for welders to earn the correct certifications for welding structural components on cranes.

Manitowoc will unwrap two new Grove rough-terrain cranes at Bauma: the RT550E and RT770E, as well as a new lattice-boom crawler crane. Crusher spares specialist CMS Cepcor has opened a new technical centre at Coalville in the UK and has now transferred its Baguley Precision Engineering business into the newly formed Precision Services Division. The company has moved machine servicing from Burton-on-Trent to the new technical centre and retained all the engineering staff. Within the centre is a CNC manufacturing capability, which will enhance the manufacturing, inspection and repair facilities at Coalville.

Manitowoc will launch its 165tonne MLC165 lattice-boom crawler crane on to the U.S. market during Conexpo 2014.
