Malaysian shopping centre parking police

In Malaysia, the government has introduced supplementary police officer services in shopping centres in a bid to cut vehicle crimes in their car parks. The service will be introduced in Suria KLCC, Pavilion, Tropicana City Mall and Sunway Pyramid shopping centres.

In Malaysia, the government has introduced supplementary police officer services in shopping centres in a bid to cut vehicle crimes in their car parks.

The service will be introduced in Suria KLCC, Pavilion, Tropicana City Mall and Sunway Pyramid shopping centres.

The government has also introduced a ‘Car Park League Table’, which rates shopping centres' parking areas according to the level of safety they offer. Among the categories to be evaluated are lighting, panic buttons and overall security.
