Malaysian government awards US$ 501.81mn Expressway work contract to AZRB

The Malaysian government has awarded a US$501.81 million (MYR 1.55bn) contract for the East Klang Valley Expressway to Ahmad Zaki Resources Bhd (AZRB). The contract gives AZRB the authority and rights to carry out the Expressway’s construction and the existing road's widening and upgrading works. The concession will last up to 50 years.

The 3491 Malaysian Government has awarded a US$501.81 million (MYR 1.55bn) contract for the East Klang Valley Expressway to Ahmad Zaki Resources Bhd (AZRB).     A US$452 million highway upgrade project will be carried out in India by the contractor, Ashoka Mallasandra Karadi Road. This firm is a subsidiary of Indian company Dilip Buildcon.
