A major new toll link will boost Indonesia’s transport connections

Key road construction projects are now moving forward in Bosnia with work on-track for the Sarajevo ringroad as well as the Corridor Vc highway. Construction of a 130km section of the Corridor Vc highway should be complete by 2014 according to Bosnia's Ministry of Transport and Telecoms. Turkey has awarded the much-delayed tenders for the motorway connector roads to Istanbul’s Third Bosphorus Bridge.
The 90km motorway section between Kinali and Odayeri was awarded to the Kolin-Kalyon joint-venture with completion in seven years and nine months, according to Turkish media reports. The 170km section between Kurtkoy and Akyazi was awarded to Limak-Cengiz joint-venture which will finish the work in six years and nine months.
Turkey’s Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge over the Bosporus is having its official opening, which is being carried out by senior members of the country’s government including president Recep Erdoğan. The final sections of the deck structure were put into place in March 2016 and the project, which commenced in 2013, has been completed in record time.
