A major highway in Belarus will be reconstructed

The Belarus Ministry of Transport is setting out a budget to rebuild the country’s most important highway links. The country’s Federal Highway will be reconstructed and the Ministry of Transport will publish the tender for the repair work in 2013. The project is expected to cost in the region of US$4.75 billion to carry out and is planned for completion by 2018.

    A new highway project is planned for Cambodia that will improve transport connections to and from its capital, Phnom Penh and the coastal area, Preah Sihanouk. Construction is scheduled to commence in November 2018, with the 190km route expected to cost in the order of US$1.8 billion.     Taiwan’s Ministry of Transportation and Communications says that work on the Suhua Highway improvement project should go ahead as planned. The construction work on the project is expected to be carried out from 2017 to 2019. The revamped highway will improve connections between Hualien county and Yilan county. The construction work is costing in the region of US$1.51 billion to carry out.
