LiuGong has high hopes for its high performance 22tonne class excavator, the 922e III

269 LiuGong Machinery is using INTERMAT 2012 to unveil its next generation excavator range. The new E Series excavators represent a leapfrog improvement for LiuGong, meeting world-class standards of quality and design.

LiuGong said it is a range that will bring new gains in productivity, quality, efficiency and serviceability, using its 22tonne the 922E III as the launch-pad. The firm has designed the machine with a new high visibility, high comfort cab that it claims can match or beat those from leading rivals in the sector. Power delivery is said to be smooth and precise allowing fine working due to efficient hydraulics with sophisticated electronic controls. Meanwhile productivity is also high, while fuel economy is said to be good.

This new machine has been designed to meet the tough Tier 4 Interim/Stage IIIB emissions controls being introduced in North America and Europe and represents LiuGong’s latest move in the competitive global market for crawler excavators in the 21-22tonne range.
