Lithuania's Ministry of Transport proposes that the country's major international transport routes be added to the EU's Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T). Sections of national roads and logistics centres under development in Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipeda, and Siauliai be included into TEN-T under the proposal.

    Ethiopia is setting a target of 2020 to complete its road expansion programme. The plan has been to double the length of the country’s road network in the period from 2015 to 2020.
