German asphalt and concrete mixing plant manufacturer 1177 Lintec has invested some €10 million in a new European factory.

The Polish factory in Jasien, near to the German-Polish border, will be ready for operation in February, and will use the latest machinery technology and experienced personnel to produce plants to meet the growing quality demands on the European market.

"Together with our factory in Buxtehude this will lead to new production synergies and capacities," says the company, which has just introduced two new asphalt and two new concrete mixing plants.

The company was founded in 1919 by Eduard Linnhoff, grandfather of Lintec's president Klaus Thesenfitz, and specialises in containerised asphalt and concrete plants and in using 100% ISO sea containers.

The company also produces Gussasphalt equipment, and its Linnhoff Technologies plant in Singapore produces a wide range of asphalt plants and ancillary equipment.
