Lameter weld-free handling forks ‘cheaper in the long run’

While Lameter’s weld-free block-handling forks may cost a little more to purchase than the competition, business development manager Giulio Riccardi said his products are cheaper in the long run. The individually-forged forks are located by a crossbar and held in by bolts whereas, with other designs, the forks are welded into position. However, if damaged, it is easier to unbolt the forks in Lameter’s design than gouging out the weld, as needed in other designs.
