A major road project in Kuwait now has the go-ahead and construction will commence shortly. A consortium comprising local firm 3103 Boodai Construction, the Italian companies 975 Rizzani De Eccher and the 978 Trevi Group and Spanish firm 980 OHL won the deal with a bid of US$840 million.

    A joint venture formed by SNC Lavalin and Cintra Infrastructure will handle the contract to extend Highway 407 in Canada.     Brazil motorway concessionaire Arteris, formerly OHL Brasil, could spend up to US$2.26 billion (BRL 4.5bn) by 2017, instead of an initially planned BRL 3.5 billion.
