A major road project in Kuwait now has the go-ahead and construction will commence shortly. A consortium comprising local firm 3103 Boodai Construction, the Italian companies 975 Rizzani De Eccher and the 978 Trevi Group and Spanish firm 980 OHL won the deal with a bid of US$840 million.

    Argentina’s Route 33 is set to benefit from a major upgrade with the award of a contract to a consortium comprising local construction companies.     Despite concerns from infrastructure groups, the Mexican government will not to extend the deadline for bids for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the La Raza-Indios Verdes-Santa Clara motorway.
