Kohler Engines is preparing its dealer network for further emissions regulation with increased training, including the use of its iService multimedia platform. The company offers service training courses throughout its network, in branches, distributors and authorised workshops. In addition it is offering distance learning through the iService portal. The KDI series – Kohler Direct Injection – currently includes a 1.9-litre three-cylinder, and four-cylinder 2.5litre engines. A larger 3.4litre engine will follow. Without a DPF, Lombardini said service intervals are 500hours, extendable to 750hours depending on application – an improvement of up to 350hours compared to a DP
