Two new highways are being built in the Philippines, costing some US$470 million in all. Both roads are for the Cavite-Laguna (CALA) Expressway project. A four-lane, 14.3km expressway will be built at the Laguna side and a four-lane, 27.5km highway at the R-1 Expressway's terminus in Kawit to Silang's Aguinaldo Highway.
