Key highway projects are underway in Henan Province, China

A total of US$2.42 billion is being invested in five high-speed road projects in China's Henan Province. The highways have a total length of 205km and construction work is already underway. Some $1.2 billion will be spent on the 108km road link between Dengfeng City and Weishi Expressway with a length of around 108km, while $377 million will be invested in a 37km road project connecting Wuxi Expressway and Yuntai Mountain. A total of US$2.42 billion is being invested in five high-speed road projects in China's Henan Province. The highways have a total length of 205km and construction work is already underway. Some $1.2 billion will be spent on the 108km road link between Dengfeng City and Weishi Expressway with a length of around 108km, while $377 million will be invested in a 37km road project connecting Wuxi Expressway and Yuntai Mountain. A further $242 million will be spent on a 22km road from Jiao Tong Expressway-Wen County, while $114 million will be invested in a 5.3km road from Sanmenxia-Xichuan Expressway. In addition, $306.6 million will be spent on a 33.4km road connecting Nanle and Linzhou Expressway.

    Work is now being carried out on three major road projects in Qatar. The work is worth over US$2.58 billion in all. One project is for an upgrade to the North Road corridor.     The authorities in China's Shanxi Province are investing heavily in highway expansion. By the end of 2012, the total highway/expressway network Shanxi Province will be some 5,000km.
