Kenyan project for Chinese firm

A Chinese contractor is to construct the dual carriageway extension to Langata Road in Kenya. Work is commencing shortly on the US$30.6 million project, which will take 15 months to complete.

A Chinese contractor is to construct the dual carriageway extension to Langata Road in Kenya. Work is commencing shortly on the US$30.6 million project, which will take 15 months to complete. 1581 China Wu Yi will build a 3.6km extension to the dual carriageway which will run from Kenya Wildlife Service gate to Magadi Road Junction. The project also includes building a walkway and a cycle lane as well as an interchange at Bomas-Galleria Mall. In addition China Wu Yi will install lighting and construct a footbridge at the Kenya Wildlife Service gate.
