Kazan allocated US$263.14mn road repair budget for 2012

Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin said authorities would allocate US$263.14million to repair the city’s road network in 2012, compared to a total of $197.66million spent over the previous five years.

    An estimated 34,080 people died in road accidents in the United States in 2012, up 5.3% on the year before, according to a new report from the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The reported deaths figure is the highest since 2008.
