Paving operations in Perth, Western Australia, are being aided by Dynapac's productive and versatile F6-4W, which is paving links for new suburbs to meet the latest surge in population. The machine is working for specialist contractor BGC Asphalt and is laying roads in the remaining sub-divisions of Ridge Wood in Brighton, to the north of Perth.
Zambia’s road safety problem is continuing, with measures to cut crashes having so far proven ineffective. Data from the Zambian Police shows that 25 people were killed in road crashes during the recent holiday period from 3rd August to 7th August. New data shows a fall in road deaths in both Lithuania and Sweden. The official data reveals that 24 people were killed on Swedish roads in December 2013, according to preliminary figures from the Swedish Transport Agency (Transportstyrelsen). The city has a chronic traffic problem, with some 1.7 million registered vehicles circulating on a road network with insufficient capacity.
