JLG’s diesel-powered 510AJ boom lift, with a working height of 17.81metres, is said by the American firm to be specifically designed and produced for the European market, providing high level access with a spacious work platform. The machine is said to be ideal for use in confined locations and can be set up and re-positioned quickly in narrow, compact spaces. Other work can carry on around it relatively undisturbed due to low sound levels while operating.

    January 6, 2017
JCB has introduced two additional Stage IIIB-powered wheeled loaders, the 427 and the 437. Replacing the 426 and 436, the loaders use a Cummins QSB engine, which meets the requirements of Stage IIIB without the need for a diesel particulate filter or selective catalytic reduction (SCR). A variable geometry turbocharger improves response, while an optional five-speed powershift transmission with intelligent clutch cut-off system helps to reduce fuel consumption.

    January 6, 2017
Terex launched three compact excavators at INTERMAT – a micro TC10 and the reduced radius TC15 and TC19. All three have been developed in co-operation with an Italian manufacturer. The TC10, which weighs just 1 tonne, has a travel width of 760mm, allowing it to pass through a standard doorway. Hydraulically extending track frames offer a digging width of 990mm for maximum stability.
