2199 JLG International has launched a new telehandler, the 250S. “We updated the machine in order to comply with the new emissions regulations,” said JLG marketing communications manager Xenia Kolijn. The telehandler has a 201 Deutz engine and complies with Tier 4 final, said Kolijn.
Sennebogen has plugged the gap in its telescopic crawler crane range with the introduction of the 673R-HD. The 70tonne capacity machine sits between the firm’s 40 and 80tonne models, offering a 36m four-stage main boom with two fly booms of 8m and 15m. This gives a maximum reach of 51m. Swedish bucket tooth, cutting edge and bucket protection producer Combi Wear Parts will introduce adapters, teeth and lip shrouds for excavator buckets in the 200-250 tonne class. Designed for cutting edges of both 120mm and 140mm lip thickness , the adapters are built to work with 60-90kg teeth. The firm has also applied for a patent for a new locking mechanism that will feature on its ProClaws tooth system.

Hydra shearer drums, now part of the ESCO family of mining products, have been engineered with radial-style picks and tool holders that are recessed into the vane to deliver optimum cutting performance. The result is reduced wear on the drum, increased product size and lower power consumption. The range of shearer drums can also be equipped with conical style picks.
