JCB is introducing new hydraulic breakers to meet a range of customer needs. The larger HM870Q, HM1270Q and HM1570Q hydraulic breakers feature stainless steel components in critical areas as well as sealed for life accumulators, both of which boost operating life. Performance has been increased due to improved hydraulics, boosting efficiency and reducing noise while the breakers are said to have high power to weight ratios compared with rival units.

255 JCB is introducing new hydraulic breakers to meet a range of customer needs. The larger HM870Q, HM1270Q and HM1570Q hydraulic breakers feature stainless steel components in critical areas as well as sealed for life accumulators, both of which boost operating life. Performance has been increased due to improved hydraulics, boosting efficiency and reducing noise while the breakers are said to have high power to weight ratios compared with rival units. These larger breaker models suit carriers in the 10-28tonne class and features include a large diameter tool, automatic tool greasing and heavy duty brackets, all of which help increase wear life. There are also four smaller breakers, for carriers weighing 2-12tonnes, which share some of the same features as the larger units.
A full range of pavers, featuring both tracked and wheeled undercarriages, also will be at the show. The display includes the new AP255E, which is the smallest paver in the range, and the new AP1055E, the largest paver in the Cat range.
Hyundai Heavy Industries Europe (HHIE) used INTERMAT to start the roll-out of its Dash 9A wheeled loaders. Ritchie Bros Auctioneers’ first multi-million pound auction at its new regional site in Donington Park, UK, was shown live at INTERMAT. The company registered more than 630 online and on-site bidders from 50 countries to bid on more than 675 heavy plant equipment items and trucks. Two unused Volvo L90F wheeled loaders sold to an online bidder from Australia for €147,000 each.
