255 JCB is introducing new hydraulic breakers to meet a range of customer needs. The larger HM870Q, HM1270Q and HM1570Q hydraulic breakers feature stainless steel components in critical areas as well as sealed for life accumulators, both of which boost operating life. Performance has been increased due to improved hydraulics, boosting efficiency and reducing noise while the breakers are said to have high power to weight ratios compared with rival units. These larger breaker models suit carriers in the 10-28tonne class and features include a large diameter tool, automatic tool greasing and heavy duty brackets, all of which help increase wear life. There are also four smaller breakers, for carriers weighing 2-12tonnes, which share some of the same features as the larger units.

The Loadrite L2150 wheeled loader bucket weighing system is said to offer increased accuracy and reliability. The system is said to ensure haul trucks can be loaded properly, improving overall productivity by ensuring operational efficiency. Using this weighing system trucks are neither under-loaded nor over-loaded, with the ensuing associated productivity losses and excess machine wear problems respectively, all but eliminated. Aimed at use in large quarry operations the new Loadrite L2150 unit is said to

Ashtree Glass will be showing its new range of ‘E’ approved mirror arms and mounting brackets to go with their previously launched ‘E’ mirrors. The mirrors and their attachments, which the company says move away from wide angle ‘fish eye’ type mirror designs, reflect the latest European standard visibility requirements for telehandlers. Ashtree says the mirror arms and mounting brackets ensure ‘E’ mirrors can be adjusted to the best possible position to eliminate operator blindspots. As well as being teste
