JCB is introducing new hydraulic breakers to meet a range of customer needs. The larger HM870Q, HM1270Q and HM1570Q hydraulic breakers feature stainless steel components in critical areas as well as sealed for life accumulators, both of which boost operating life. Performance has been increased due to improved hydraulics, boosting efficiency and reducing noise while the breakers are said to have high power to weight ratios compared with rival units.

255 JCB is introducing new hydraulic breakers to meet a range of customer needs. The larger HM870Q, HM1270Q and HM1570Q hydraulic breakers feature stainless steel components in critical areas as well as sealed for life accumulators, both of which boost operating life. Performance has been increased due to improved hydraulics, boosting efficiency and reducing noise while the breakers are said to have high power to weight ratios compared with rival units. These larger breaker models suit carriers in the 10-28tonne class and features include a large diameter tool, automatic tool greasing and heavy duty brackets, all of which help increase wear life. There are also four smaller breakers, for carriers weighing 2-12tonnes, which share some of the same features as the larger units.
JCB is adding to its waste handling range with the launch of the JS20MH materials handler and the 4CXWM wastemaster backhoe loader. The 20 tonne JS20MH is the firm’s first dedicated materials handler for the waste and recycling industries. Based on the JS160W Wastemaster wheeled excavator, the JS20MH uses a new undercarriage and chassis design with a central slew turret delivering increased stability. Michelin previewed its new X Crane+ tyre at INTERMAT. The new radial tyre has an ‘F’ speed rating allowing each tyre to carry a payload of 6,700kg at speeds of up to 80km/h.
