JCB is introducing a new three model range of breakers
JCB is introducing new hydraulic breakers to meet a range of customer needs. The larger HM870Q, HM1270Q and HM1570Q hydraulic breakers feature stainless steel components in critical areas as well as sealed for life accumulators, both of which boost operating life. Performance has been increased due to improved hydraulics, boosting efficiency and reducing noise while the breakers are said to have high power to weight ratios compared with rival units.

255 JCB is introducing new hydraulic breakers to meet a range of customer needs. The larger HM870Q, HM1270Q and HM1570Q hydraulic breakers feature stainless steel components in critical areas as well as sealed for life accumulators, both of which boost operating life. Performance has been increased due to improved hydraulics, boosting efficiency and reducing noise while the breakers are said to have high power to weight ratios compared with rival units. These larger breaker models suit carriers in the 10-28tonne class and features include a large diameter tool, automatic tool greasing and heavy duty brackets, all of which help increase wear life. There are also four smaller breakers, for carriers weighing 2-12tonnes, which share some of the same features as the larger units.
JCB is broadening its range of asphalt compactors with the addition of the VMT380 and VMT430 models. These are said to offer high operator visibility, comfort, safety and performance in comparison with other models on the market, according to the firm. Tapered frames ensure good sightlines while both models are powered by 2.2litre Kohler diesels mounted in the front chassis section and rated at 34.6kW, with large fuel and water tanks that are said to be class leading. JCB has completed its 17-model, US-built second generation skid steer and compact tracked loader line. The firm has added the 175, 190 and 205 model skid steers and the 190T and 205T CTLs to the range, all of which are vertical-lift-arm models powered by a 44.7kW engine. JCB now has a machine to cover 97% of the global skid steer market, which accounts for more than 70,000 loaders a year.

JCB has added the high-capacity 550-80 Loadall to its telescopic handler line. The 550-80 is JCB’s highest capacity Loadall and it has been specifically designed for bulk handling operations in heavier duty applications such as loading duties with a bucket and materials recycling and waste handling operations.
