JCB adds to Stage IIIB wheeled loader line

JCB has introduced two additional Stage IIIB-powered wheeled loaders, the 427 and the 437. Replacing the 426 and 436, the loaders use a Cummins QSB engine, which meets the requirements of Stage IIIB without the need for a diesel particulate filter or selective catalytic reduction (SCR). A variable geometry turbocharger improves response, while an optional five-speed powershift transmission with intelligent clutch cut-off system helps to reduce fuel consumption.

The 437 offer improved performance with lower fuel consumption
RSS255 JCB has introduced two additional Stage IIIB-powered wheeled loaders, the 427 and the 437.

Replacing the 426 and 436, the loaders use a 196 Cummins QSB engine, which meets the requirements of Stage IIIB without the need for a diesel particulate filter or selective catalytic reduction (SCR).

A variable geometry turbocharger improves response, while an optional five-speed powershift transmission with intelligent clutch cut-off system helps to reduce fuel consumption.

An improved cab includes optional climate control for the first time, a full colour LCD monitor and a choice of lever layouts. Customers can also choose between standard open differential axles, limited slip diffs or an automatic diff lock on the front axle only.

Terex launched three compact excavators at INTERMAT – a micro TC10 and the reduced radius TC15 and TC19. All three have been developed in co-operation with an Italian manufacturer. The TC10, which weighs just 1 tonne, has a travel width of 760mm, allowing it to pass through a standard doorway. Hydraulically extending track frames offer a digging width of 990mm for maximum stability.

The new HM400-3 articulated dump truck (ADT) from Komatsu can carry a full 40 tonnes and features a host of new technology in the drivetrain and in the cab. Its 353kW engine is fitted with a diesel particulate filter with computer-controlled regeneration so that no operator input is required. A computerised Transmission Control System replaces the need for limited slip differentials in the transmission as it activates the multi wet disc foundation brakes in any wheel that starts to spin. Furthermore, the s
