JCB adds rollers and plates to compaction line-up

JCB has added to its compact equipment range with the SD580 single drum roller, the SE10-35 forward vibratory plate and the DE35-42 reversible plate. The single drum roller, which is available with or without a dedicated trailer for road towing, weighs 185kg and delivers a centrifugal force of 10kN. Customers can buy the roller with a purpose-built trailer
255 JCB has added to its compact equipment range with the SD580 single drum roller, the SE10-35 forward vibratory plate and the DE35-42 reversible plate. The single drum roller, which is available with or without a dedicated trailer for road towing, weighs 185kg and delivers a centrifugal force of 10kN. It is powered by a 2288 Honda GX160 petrol engine, while a GX120 motor is used to power the forward vibratory plate. The SE10-35 has a plate width of 350mm and weighs in at 73kg. The larger DE35-42 reversible plate uses a 7125 Hatz diesel engine and delivers a 35kN force across its 420mm wide plate. Maximum travel speed is 26m/min and the control handle has been designed for both left and right handed operation.

    Komatsu used INTERMAT to take the wraps off two new Dash 7 wheeled loaders, badged WA380-7 and WA500-7.
