French technology group Lacroix has recently made two strategic acquisitions. The acquisition of Spanish company DSTA gives Lacroix added presence in the variable message signs, traffic signals and public transport information panels sector.
SOGEXI, a French supplier of junction and protection devices for lighting and remote management solutions for street lighting maintenance, is also now part of the Lacroix Group.

The sixth Ibero-American Road Safety Congress was held in Spain’s capital Madrid recently, aiming to boost road safety in a range of countries. In all 300 experts from 15 countries attended the event, analysing solutions to achieve more sustainable roads and streets. Earthmoving sales in Germany this year could top 30,000, according to Joachim Schmid, managing director of VDMA - Construction Equipment and Building Materials Machinery Association.
