Participants from all over the world joined in to the key messages and techniques from this webinar. This addressed the core characteristics of raw data brought together in the annual World Road Statistics report, which is one of IRF’s flagship projects. Published since 1964, this publication remains the single comprehensive source of data for the international road, traffic and transport sectors. The main questions addressed during the webinar included: Why collecting and analysis data is key; the statistics and econometric techniques to identify and fit road and transport data; modelling methods. Throughout the presentation, simple methodologies, elementary econometric techniques and examples were introduced to help the webinar participants understand the key elements to consider when analysing data. Lintec’s Aggregate Cooling System (ACS) is described as a new, patented and fully containerised plant concept for the direct cooling of aggregates for concrete mixes. Mitas has unveiled the newest addition to its family of ERL earthmoving tyres, the 20.5R25 ERL-50. The tyre will become available for sale worldwide by July. Mitas makes specific tyres for machines operating in demanding conditions, including gravel and rock quarries. The Mitas ERL series features 12 tyres of 28mm to 90mm tread depth, with the ERL-50 designed for rocky conditions.
Engine supplier Yanmar will show a full range of California Air Resources Board (CARB) certified engines at Bauma.
