Participants from all over the world joined in to the key messages and techniques from this webinar. This addressed the core characteristics of raw data brought together in the annual World Road Statistics report, which is one of IRF’s flagship projects. Published since 1964, this publication remains the single comprehensive source of data for the international road, traffic and transport sectors. The main questions addressed during the webinar included: Why collecting and analysis data is key; the statistics and econometric techniques to identify and fit road and transport data; modelling methods. Throughout the presentation, simple methodologies, elementary econometric techniques and examples were introduced to help the webinar participants understand the key elements to consider when analysing data. Hydra shearer drums, now part of the ESCO family of mining products, have been engineered with radial-style picks and tool holders that are recessed into the vane to deliver optimum cutting performance. The result is reduced wear on the drum, increased product size and lower power consumption. The range of shearer drums can also be equipped with conical style picks.
JLG International has launched a new telehandler, the 250S. “We updated the machine in order to comply with the new emissions regulations,” said JLG marketing communications manager Xenia Kolijn. The telehandler has a Deutz engine and complies with Tier 4 final, said Kolijn.

The innovative polymer formulation shares technology with the proven Bigfoot outrigger pads, which help with load distribution in crane lift applications.
