The 3515 Intermat Middle East 2011 exhibition is gearing up to capitalise on construction growth in the region. With infrastructure spending showing strong signs for the future, the organisers of the event say that it will provide an important route to market for construction equipment manufacturers. This will be the only international exhibition in the region for construction equipment and major international heavy machinery manufacturers will be at the show. This international exhibition for machinery, materials, and equipment for construction and infrastructure will be held for the very first time in Abu Dhabi, from 28th to 30th March 2011. The new event is based on the strength of INTERMAT's reputation in the MENA region and is being launched Abu Dhabi. INTERMAT Middle East is a joint venture between SE INTERMAT and its partner 3626 Clarion Middle East and is dedicated to construction materials and equipment to meet the needs of the fast growing markets of the Middle East and North Africa.

INTERMAT Middle East visitors will include construction company representatives, local authorities, airport and port authorities, importers, distributors, and firms that supply or rent out materials and equipment. These will come from the United Arabian Emirats, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Yemen and the Sultanate of Oman. INTERMAT Middle East will extend its reach to other countries in the region such as Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Lebanon, Lybia, Morocco, Tunisia and Turkey.
