INTERMAT organisers confident of show success

The organisers of the INTERMAT 2015 event in Paris are bullish about the potential success of the show, with more than 1,000 brands already registered as exhibitors. Those present at the exhibition include 38 out of the top 50 leaders in the construction equipment market worldwide. The organisers of the 242 INTERMAT 2015 event in Paris are bullish about the potential success of the show, with more than 1,000 brands already registered as exhibitors. Those present at the exhibition include 38 out of the top 50 leaders in the construction equipment market worldwide. These include: 1595 CNH Industrial, 695 Doosan, 233 Hitachi Construction Machinery, 236 Hyundai Heavy Industries, 2199 JLG, 257 John Deere, 2200 Kobelco Construction Machinery, 2300 Komatsu, 1265 Kubota, 718 Liebherr, 269 Liugong, 1170 Sany, 1171 Shantui, 1222 Terex, 7659 Volvo Construction Equipment, 364 Wirtgen Group, 1651 Wacker Neuson, 1175 Zoomlion/2203 Cifa.

The event will be organised around a new category segmentation across the 375,000m2 exhibition surface area. Some 85% of the stand space is already allotted and there will be 238 new brands including the comebacks of 2123 Manitowoc Crane Group and 2106 Manitou. Other French firms at the show include 217 Fayat, 712 Haulotte and Mecalec.

The two day event Pre-INTERMAT organised ahead of the show (22nd and 23rd January 2015) is also looking positive. To date, 90 companies have signed up for the event. During Pre-INTERMAT, the results of the Innovation Awards will also be revealed, with more than 80 innovations taking part in the competition.
